In collaboration with ASSURART<\/strong>, this workshop explains why artists, even when working from home, need general liability insurance. This protection covers legal fees and damages if you negligently cause material or bodily harm to a third party (for example, an accidental fire in your studio or a friend getting injured while visiting your artworks). For those exhibiting at fairs, the organizer often requires to be named as an additional insured, which commercial insurance allows at no extra cost. Finally, we discuss insurance for the artworks themselves (in the studio, during transportation, exhibitions) and the importance of having clear contracts with galleries and subcontractors.\u00a0<\/p>\n A must-have for protecting your practice!<\/p>\n This workshop will be held in French.
