Meet the artists<\/strong> of the 2026 cohort and connect with those from previous years, discover the exhibition’s artworks in preview<\/strong>, and enjoy the open bar<\/strong>. For that initial spark to take shape and for connections to form, artists need materials, time, and financial support.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Making a donation or attending la soir\u00e9e sympa gives artists the means to create, to exist, and to bring innovative visions to life. It also means being present from their very first steps: supporting a first sale, helping with the writing of a first artist statement, and making a concrete gesture of trust in homegrown creation. Whether for the current cohort or for the 185 people supported over nearly 10 years, our community’s support makes all the difference<\/strong>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Awarding a grant means recognizing the value of artistic research and giving creators full agency<\/strong>. At artch, we choose to award grants without imposing performance objectives or specific results.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Four years ago, the grant awarded was $1,000 per artist. Today<\/strong>, it stands at $3,000<\/strong>. All of the event’s proceeds go directly into artists’ pockets to improve their living and working conditions<\/strong>.
