Call for artists – 10th edition

Take part in the next edition of the artch emerging art festival as an artist or artist collective!

Since 2018, more than 185 artists have been selected and supported by artch.

Being part of artch unlocks a range of unparalleled opportunities: 48 hours of training in arts entrepreneurship, a $3,000 grant, and a group exhibition in the heart of Tiohtià:ké/Montréal, all designed to propel the careers of emerging contemporary artists.

The call for submissions for the 10th edition is officially open until January 26, 2027. Applicants are expected to receive a response in April 2027.

artch offers the opportunity to exhibit in a booth, as well as to present a performance. Applicants who wish to apply for both a booth and a performance may fill out the form twice, selecting the appropriate project (exhibition or performance). If the applicant is selected, artch will contact them later to let them know which project they have been chosen for.

This call for applications is open to emerging professional artists and emerging artist collectives (with 5 years or less of professional artistic practice) who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada. A grant of $3,000 will be awarded per artist or per collective.

Artists of all backgrounds, profiles, ages, and places of residence in Quebec are encouraged to apply.

We can’t wait to learn about your project!
