After so many separations, disappearances, and relocations, what remains? In this laboratory, Po B. K. Lomami creates an intimate experiment that settles into the material and immaterial instability of lineage. Attempting to maintain their familial and cultural ties through the experience they share with their mother, doubt is confirmed in every moment, gesture and space. Perhaps through effort and pain they will succeed in creating a temporal loop that will preserve their future. aksanti 33 (part 1) is a performance that tests an uncertain legitimacy, threatened by shame and fear of failure, at a crucial age.
