Call for artists 2026

Participate in the next edition of the artch contemporary art festival as an artist!

Since 2018, more than 165 artists have been selected and supported by artch.

Being part of artch unlocks an array of exceptional opportunities: 48 hours of training in artistic entrepreneurship, a $3,000 grant, and a group exhibition in the heart of Montreal with the goal of propelling the careers of emerging contemporary artists.

The call for the 9th edition is officially open and closes on January 26, 2026. Applicants are expected to receive a response in April 2026.

artch offers an opportunity to exhibit in a module, but also to present a performance. Candidates who wish to apply for both a module and a performance can fill out the form twice by selecting the appropriate project (module or performance). If the candidate is selected, artch will contact you afterwards to let you know which project you have been chosen for.

The call is open to emerging professional artists (5 years or less of professional artistic practice) who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada.

Artists of all backgrounds, profiles, and ages are encouraged to apply.
