Céline Bureau and Artch invite you to participate in a critique exercise aimed at artists looking to challenge their work.

Between 5 and 8 artists will be invited to register and present a body of ongoing work during this unique session. The goal of this critique is to create a supportive and professional exchange space where artists and participants can engage in dialogue about the works. Constructive feedback, stimulating questions, and diverse perspectives will enrich artistic practices.

The audience will be encouraged to ask questions and share comments, contributing to meaningful and enriching conversations for the evolution of the works. This format offers artists the opportunity to test and refine their work, while participants engage in stimulating discussions.

Artists will bring physical works and ongoing projects, creating an open environment for dialogue and creative exploration. Each session will be guided by a series of preparatory questions, sent in advance to structure the exchanges and allow for deep reflection.

We firmly believe that critique, when conducted thoughtfully and respectfully, serves as a powerful tool for refining artistic research and helping artists progress in their practice. It is also a valuable opportunity for the audience to deepen their understanding of the creative processes while offering varied and constructive feedback.
