Celebrating art and supporting Québec’s emerging artists

On October 14, 2026, artch invites you to experience a unique evening combining artistic discovery and philanthropic engagement at Espace Transmission. La soirée sympa is a special opportunity to celebrate the 20 emerging artists of the 2026 cohort, while contributing concretely to the growth of Québec’s emerging artistic talent.

Starting at 5 p.m. with the Ally ticket or from 7 p.m. with the Next Generation ticket, join us in a welcoming space for an exclusive evening. Meet the artists of the 2026 cohort and connect with those from previous years, discover the exhibition’s artworks in preview, and enjoy the open bar. Ally ticket holders will also receive the complete list of artworks the day before the event.

Supporting the creative drive

Every artistic journey begins with an idea, a passion, a fundamental drive. For that initial spark to take shape and for connections to form, artists need materials, time, and financial support.

Making a donation or attending la soirée sympa gives artists the means to create, to exist, and to bring innovative visions to life. It also means being present from their very first steps: supporting a first sale, helping with the writing of a first artist statement, and making a concrete gesture of trust in homegrown creation. Whether for the current cohort or for the 185 people supported over nearly 10 years, our community’s support makes all the difference.

A thoughtful philanthropic approach

Awarding a grant means recognizing the value of artistic research and giving creators full agency. At artch, we choose to award grants without imposing performance objectives or specific results.

Four years ago, the grant awarded was $1,000 per artist. Today, it stands at $3,000. All of the event’s proceeds go directly into artists’ pockets to improve their living and working conditions. Actively working toward this stability today ensures the vitality of tomorrow’s artistic creation.

Contribute according to your means

• Next Generation ticket — $65: Access to the evening starting at 7 p.m., the open bar, and meetings with the artists. Friendly $25 tax receipt.
• Ally ticket — $175: Full access starting at 5 p.m. and early access to the list of artworks the day before the event. Friendly $100 tax receipt.
• Allies Duo ticket — $300: Access for two people starting at 5 p.m. and early access to the list of artworks. Friendly $150 tax receipt.
• Personalized donation: You can’t attend or want to amplify your impact? Make a donation of any amount. 100% of this additional amount is tax-deductible.
